D15:4 IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION.

A FAITH-BASED MISSION

TO PURSUE THE IDEAL “THERE SHOULD BE NO POOR AMONG US.”

Who We Are

Our Vision: See you change the world with love.

Our Purpose: Share faith, hope and love with the Poor.

Our Mission: Train leaders and assist local churches to grow and expand into the communities.

How did we get started?

A mid-night winter encounter.  Along a deserted Chinatown alley, a shivering homeless man with barely a thin coat asleep on the frozen sidewalk became the seminal moment.

In winter of 2015, we gave over 150 sleeping bags, shared countless meals and conversations by walking the cold dark streets in search of the homeless.

We became intentional in practicing kindness with the poor.

We asked, “Why not share this beautiful work?” The thought of inspiring others to acts of kindness was the second catalyst moment.

The ideal, naïve as it may seem was individually and collectively, we can change the world with love, if we intentionally practiced kindness. Acts of kindness which are: simple, effective, practical, reproducible, and collectively powerful.

Located in New York City, we expanded to Hong Kong and Nepal.  We followed our hearts exploring and growing new ministries to serve children, families and individuals with needs.  We provided training to leaders, local churches, non-profits, and Mission Teams.

In perusing through Scriptures, the 15th chapter and fourth verse of Deuteronomy caught our hearts: “There should be no poor among us.” Now, we have both the ideal and the name: D15:4.
